Geir Draugsvoll has premiered a large number of works for the bayan. An accomplished accordion and bayan performer, he has toured extensively in Europe, Asia and the United States. He has released several recordings. Eminent cellist David Geringas has performed in tandem with Vladimir Ashkenazy, Simon Rattle and Charles Dutoit to name a few. He has recorded more than 40 compact discs and has received many prestigious awards.
